Ivan Cohen is a freelance software developer from France, with an extensive experience in the audio plug-in and hardware industry.
He did a PhD thesis with the IRCAM and the company Two Notes about guitar amplifiers simulation from 2009 to 2012, and he has developed audio effects for a few companies using the JUCE framework, such as Sonic Academy, Filmstro, Wavesfactory, Hyvibe, ROLI / JUCE (DSP module), Two Notes, process.audio, AudioThing, Devious Machines, Audiority, Tone Projects etc.
He has been participating in conferences and trade shows, such as Audio Developer Conference or SynthFest France, to talk about virtual analog modeling, plug-ins develepment, or to conduct a workshop related with JUCE and filters modeling.
Today, he is looking for opportunities to work with other companies on audio effects technologies, writing audio software and hardware reviews for some medias, and he has released a few plug-ins with the brand name Musical Entropy.
